I don't think the Universe makes choices for us.

I think we set our own goals, and the Universe helps us meet them. I think we are here to learn to make the best choices we can in our lives. This certainly took practice for me, and I sure made some mighty poor choices as I went along on my journey, but I do not regret what I learned from making them. I think we are so fortunate that whatever we do, there are consequences or results, and we learn, learn, learn.
